2nd Day in October 2021 Fishing Fun

Hey fishing family. The bite was on! Today was the first time I've ever tried a dropshot with Zoom Flukes...I am happy to tell you that I was successful getting bit using this method today.

This is the Zoom Tiny Fluke in the Baby Bass pattern that I was using today. Success! I caught several bass on this lure today. I also tried a white pearl colored Zoom Tiny Fluke but they were not biting the same way. They were definitely favoring the Baby Bass pattern. So, Bass definitely want to eat their young! 😉

Lil' Shaka was with me today as well. He was catching bass on his trusty weighted wacky worm rig. Again, the bass were preferring a color pattern matching their own species. Lil' Shaka was using the Yum Dinger in the Watermelon Pearl pattern. It looked like this one below.
We've both had a lot of luck catching bass with this specific stick bait this year. I am glad he is catching them. He has grown very much in the last couple of months as a fisherman.

I am excited that I've figured out how to utilize the dropshot technique. It has given me a way to mimic the baitfish the bass are feeding on right now. It has opened up a new world of opportunities for things I can try.

I have some additional finesse plastics I will try. Gonna head back out tomorrow to try again. Stay Committed, Stay Driven my Ohana. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🎣🪝
