Hey Fishing Family! Look at what was getting it done today. It was the original Roboworm 4.5 inch straight tail worm in a drop shot configuration. When you catch a bass on the first cast, that is normally a pretty good sign that you might catch a few more. That is exactly what happened today. I caught three more bass in roughly an hour.
This Roboworm I was using was the purple back with the brown or beige belly side. Lil' Shaka and I call this one the P B and J.
It was so fun to get the bite back today. These bass were aggressively hitting this bait, and now I have become a dropshot fan. Right now in the fall transition, there are thousands of minnows that I see on the banks. I can see the bass running the banks in groups, and they are feeding on these minnows and small baitfish.
The next thing I am going to try will be dropshotting some smaller flukes. I cannot wait the try this over the weekend. I will report back on if I have some success with this tactic. Have a great weekend!
