 Shaka OG Fishing: Always Be Learning

I will constantly be updating this page as will serve as a place to go to for learning about fishing.  I get asked who I learn things from about fishing.  I learn from friends, from the internet, from social media, from podcasts...Continuous and constant learning is what excites me.  It keeps me passionate about subjects.  And, I do get asked at times why and how I do specific things in fishing.

The other thing I do a lot is "search for answers".  And, I compile data that I find!  So if you want to go on that journey with me I will be documenting that here.  As I figure things out, I will then categorize and pull together sections that are focused and not just random things I am researching.

I will be trying this one out soon.

-Was at the pond yesterday and a guy was there that said he caught like 11 bass?  He was using a Ned Rig.  Funny because I had a few Ned Rigs at home and almost took them with me.  I am doing some research on the Ned Rig again...MLF article. I will give it a try again soon in the Pre-Spawn season with the finicky bass. (time stamp 3-20-22)

I have been using their Purple Shad spinnerbait very successfully over the last few weeks in the Pre-Spawn.  I like the quality of these lures.  I have been banging this spinnerbait up against everything the last couple of weeks and it has held up very nicely.  I found these guys at the Collinsville, IL Let's Go Fishing Show.  Steve Evanoff is the owner.  For a custom lure company, he definitely pays attention to detail.  There are subtle differences with his lures.

-The MOJO RIG worked yesterday!  I caught two bass after figuring out the retrieve.  I tried it out after watching Justin Rackley with talking Mojo Rig for Finicky Pre-Spawn Bass (time stamp 3-20-22)
